‘Mbawula’ (meaning ‘container of fire’ in Zulu) are an incendiary alliance of African and Western jazz musicians, directed by arranger and saxophonist Paul Bartholomew. Their fusion of African dance groves, stunning vocals, and jazz moves the heart, the head, and the feet – it is as vibrant and joyous as it gets!
