Join the City of Oxford Choir in a celebration of the joy of love with a number of delightful folksongs and partsongs drawn from the choral traditions of England, America, Hungary and Germany. Alongside these are major compositions for the church from Britten, Jonathan Harvey and Morten Lauridsen. This varied repertoire celebrates love - its youthful longings, tender romance, amorous bluster, spiritual devotion - and the pain of ultimate separation.
