Named by Menahem Pressler as “a major talent in the world”, the list of awards bestowed upon Haochen Zhang is made even more extraordinary by the fact that he is only 21 years old. Following his recital in May 2010 San Diego Arts advised “If you have the opportunity to hear him live…do so!”. Oxford Philomusica is delighted to welcome Zhang to the Piano Festival to perform this eclectic programme of well-loved works for solo piano.
