  1. The Wreck of the Titanic - David Bedford

Bristol Arts and Music Service are proud to announce the performance of The Wreck of the Titanic. The piece was written by renowned composer David Bedford and will be performed in his memory on Saturday 14th April 2012. This date marks exactly 100 years since the ill-fated liner struck the iceberg.

The Wreck of the Titanic will feature massed forces including the Bristol Schools Senior Music Centre Philharmonia, a children’s choir, youth/community choirs, beginner groups, and compositions from local schools and professional musicians.

To mark the occasion, audience members are invited to dress in costume of the period.
