The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and their young conductor in association Rui Pinheiro begin this afternoon of musical delights with Dvorák's rousing Carnival Overture. Peter Jablonski, the internationally acclaimed pianist, returns to Lighthouse with a favourite of performers and audiences alike, Grieg's wonderfully melodic Piano Concerto. Saint-Saëns' dazzling Organ Symphony with its brilliant orchestration and sonorous splendour brings this popular annual fundraiser to an exhilarating conclusion.
