The Chiltern Camerata will soon be back for the second concert of our 2011/2012 season. The orchestra continues to delight its audiences, as the following comment from the reviewer of our last concert indicates: “Sam Laughton and the Camerata are to be warmly congratulated on a challenging programme excellently prepared and performed – more please!”

Sam Laughton will once again conduct us and we shall be joined by the Camerata Consort of Singers, with whom we have a most happy alliance, heard most recently in the performance the Bach St. John Passion a year ago. Members of this excellent choir perform with London choirs including the Joyful Company of Singers. Our enticing programme includes Vaughan Williams’ 16-part ‘Serenade to Music’ for choral soloists and orchestra.
