The Croydon Symphony Orchestra is pleased to present this programme of music with a French connection. The programme begins with Berlioz's Overture to his opera Beatrice and Benedict, and Ravel's restful Pavane. We follow with the Delius Violin Concerto, a work composed in England, though the composer lived thereafter in France. Finally we play Franck's great Symphony in D Minor.
