  3. Daphnis and Chloe Suite No 2 - Maurice Ravel
  4. Lord of the Rings Symphonic Suite - Howard Shore, arranged by John Whitney

An evening of fantasy and adventure awaits: from highland-inspired violin wizardry with star violinist Alexandra Wood in Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy, Nordic mystery courtesy of Sibelius with En Saga, and the sumptuous orchestration of Ravel’s score to the Nymph-ridden ballet Daphnis et Chloé before a trip to Middle-earth featuring music from the epic blockbusting Lord of The Rings films.

There will a retiring collection for St Peter's Hospice.

Picture above shows Alexandra Wood in concert with Bristol Concert Orchestra at St George's Bristol.
