Last year, hundreds of families enjoyed Bristol Choral Society's first-ever Mini Messiah which was incredibly warmly received, so this year it returns with even more music and more choruses. We have picked out some of the favourites from last year, and added lots of new ones, so this year will include 'And the glory of the Lord', 'For unto us a child is born' and, of course, the 'Hallelujah' chorus.
With players from the English Symphony Orchestra and vocal soloists, this entertaining, educational and inspiring afternoon, lasting under an hour, is perfect for children of all ages.
Adults are welcome too! This will be the only performance of Bristol Choral Society's renowned Messiah this year, so the only chance to hear the choir perform this annual favourite with its trademark clarity and articulation (all from memory of course!), so be sure not to miss it.
Children and adults of all ages welcome!!

Immediately before this, there is also an opportunity to 'Come & Sing' a selection of choruses from Messiah with members of Bristol Choral Society and Adrian Partington from 2pm on the same day at the Colston Hall (which includes admission to this family concert) - see Bristol Choral Society website for details.
Completing 'A Bristol Choral Christmas', the choir will perform Bach's Christmas Oratorio with Mark Padmore on December 17.
