Saffron Walden & District Music Club: Lendvai String Trio

Since its Wigmore Hall debut in 2006, the Lendvai String Trio has performed at venues throughout Europe. Dutch violinist Nadia Wijzenbeek is an international soloist, chamber musician, and concert master; she is also a member of the Aronowitz Ensemble with whom she has recorded extensively for the BBC, Hyperion and Sonimage. Swedish violist Ylvali Zilliacus plays both modern and period instruments; she is a soloist, orchestral principal, and is much in demand as a chamber musician. Cellist Marie Macleod has won many prizes including the string section of the BBC Young Musician of the Year, and the ROSL competition.She is also a member of the Aronowitz Ensemble and plays a Goffriller cello from 1706.
