Inspired by Vienna’s traditional New Year celebrations, a glittering programme of waltzes, polkas and song by the Strauss family and others is the perfect way to see in the new decade. The programme includes the ever-popular Blue Danube, Radetzky March, selections from The Gypsy Baron, The Merry Wives of Windsor and more.

Leading conductor and former Opera North Music Director Paul Daniel takes the podium, and Gavan Ring makes his Opera North debut as a tenor, following his transition from baritone.
