Brisbane-born John Granger Fisher has established himself as one of Australia’s leading pianists. John has won numerous Australian piano competitions and awards. He is also a winner of UK, US and international prizes. He received the Royal College of Music Gold Medal for piano – the Chappell Medal, which led to recital engagements throughout the UK.

In recent years, following his studies at the Royal College of Music, John has been based in London, where he has given many recitals.

John has given solo recitals at prestigious venues around the world including Carnegie Hall, New York and Wigmore Hall, London. He has appeared as soloist on many occasions with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, including a tour of North Queensland. An experienced chamber musician, John has performed with UK, US and Australian ensembles. He has worked with leading Australian instrumentalists and singers.
