The return of our May Fayre, inspired by the infamous annual festival that took place around Brook Street in the 18th century, and gave Mayfair its name.

You are cordially invited to our upcoming after-hours event, bringing one of London’s lewdest and most shocking fairs of the 18th century back to life. Expect a fascinating evening of baroque music, drama and intrigue to celebrate this wilder side of Mayfair’s past.

On the first floor, in Handel’s Music Room, mezzo-soprano Emma Stannard, accompanied on our 18th century harpsichord, will perform music celebrating the coming of spring using some of Handel’s greatest pieces.
