Southport Orchestra will be delighted to accompany soloist soprano Louise Dickinson and to welcome the return of the Woodlands School Choir who performed with us to great acclaim in our summer concert in 2018.

Louise Dickinson began studying classical singing at Lancaster University, from where she graduated with a first class recital mark and the Denis McCaldin Prize for Musical Performance. She has been a soloist for the Royal School of Church Music and for choral societies in the North West, as well as in recitals throughout the area. She has also sung with a number of prestigious choirs, including Oxford Pro Musica Singers and the Hallé Choir, and has enjoyed many festival successes throughout the country, including winning the overall adult vocal challenge at the prestigious Huddersfield Mrs Sunderland Festival. Louise enjoys singing works from a variety of different genres, from opera to jazz and musicals. She is also a dell’Arte Artiste, and has enjoyed performing as a soloist with L’Orchestra dell’Arte.
