A Concert by the Cathedral Concerts Society. The second in our opera series is Gluck’s magnificent version of the ancient Greek story of Orpheus, who travels to the underworld in search of his love, Eurydice. It includes the heart-stopping aria What is life to me without thee? and the enchanting Dance of the Blessed Spirits.

Doors normally open at 7pm and interval refreshments are available. All access for this concert is through the Car Park Entrance only. Please look for Cathedral Concert Society signs indicating the route. The Crypt is reached via stairs or lift.
