Sir Thomas Allen is an established star of the great opera houses of the world and an acclaimed recitalist - equally at home on the stage and on the concert platform, he has appeared with the world's great orchestras and conductors. Guest of Honour at our most recent Festival, we are thrilled to welcome him back to Leeds Lieder.

Pianist Joseph Middleton specialises in the art of song accompaniment and chamber music and has been highly acclaimed within this field. Described by BBC Music as 'one of the brightest stars in the world of song and Lieder', he has enjoyed fruitful partnerships with Dame Sarah Connolly, Sir Thomas Allen, Dame Felicity Lott, Carolyn Sampson, Ian Bostridge and many more.
