Ian Bousfield, former Principal Trombone of the Vienna Philharmonic and Vienna State Opera and trombone professor at the Academy and the Hochschule der Ku¨nste Bern, leads brass students in varied repertoire from the 20th and 21st centuries. The programme includes Barber’s Mutations from Bach, comprising a short sequence of transformations based on JS Bach’s version of the Lutheran hymn Christe, du Lamm Gottes.
