The English summer becomes officially cool, with a selection of vocal Jazz classics to fill your evening with romance and rhythm. We’ve got some traditional jazz from the 1930 and 40s, including Chatanooga Choo Choo and Let’s do it. We have some excellent Latin American numbers from the 50s and 60s, including Mas de nada, Besame mucho and One note samba. Finally, we have a couple of more modern pieces – you may remember September by Earth, Wind and Fire, from the 1980s, which we’ve given a jazz-funk vocal makeover.

St Mary at Hill church, the venue is one of Wren's greatest achievements, parts of which date from the 14th century. It's survived the Great Fire of London, the Blitz and modern property developers, yet still retains a fine acoustic that's just right for these pieces. Located just off Eastcheap, it's an easy walk from Monument, Tower Hill or Bank tube stations.
