Royal Wedding fatigue? Not a fan of the FA Cup? Join us in the lovely town of Hook Norton to take a guided musical tour of this Green and Pleasant Land - without a single fanfare or football in sight. Guest conductor Matthew Smallwood has put together a delightfully eclectic programme embracing Tudor anthems, traditional folksongs, Victorian sentiment, and Britten's Choral Dances from his 1953 homage to the newly-crowned Queen, the opera Gloriana. Which is as close to the Royals as you'll get, we promise.
