Musicians of the Dreaming Spires, formed in 2008, are an ensemble of professional players based in Oxford. All the musicians perform as soloists, in chamber music and with the major orchestras including the LSO, Philharmonia, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, English and Welsh National Operas.The performers have broadcast on BBC Radio Three and appear on numerous CDs.

The core of the group consists of a quintet: flute, oboe, violin, viola and cello, to which other instruments are sometimes added enabling the ensemble to present rich and varied programmes.
