The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London welcomes the mixed-voice Choir of University College, Oxford for its festival debut in the gorgeous surroundings of a candlelit St Martin-in-the-Fields. This hour-long concert celebrates some of the great works for a cappella choir of the last 500 years, with Allegri's heart-stopping Miserere as the centrepieces. The programme also features several masterpieces of the great English choral tradition by Howells, Parry, Stanford and Wood, as well as less frequently heard works such as EW Naylor's Magnificat and Grieg's Ave maris stella. Join us for this concert of sumptuous music sung by these talented young voices.
