Philomel is a new vocal ensemble showcasing the soprano voice. This concert follows our hugely successful debut in the Brunel Shaft, Rotherhithe, which people described as 'magical', 'transporting' and 'more a work of art than recital'.

In a stunning evening of song, 6 beautiful soprano voices, accompanied by harpsichord and theorbo, perform Renaissance works based on the virtuoso singing of the Concerto Delle Donne, alongside four new works written especially for us.
