The Royal Orchestral Society returns to St John's Smith Square, along with The London Chorus, to mark Remembrance Day with a performance of Brahms’ great choral masterpiece, A German Requiem. Soloists: Kathleen Ferrier award winner baritone Gareth Brynmor John; soprano Nika Goric. The programme opens with Nika Goric singing Alban Berg's 7 early songs. These rarely performed pieces are from his first period and are delightfully romantic and beautiful.

Joining the orchestra is The London Chorus, under the musical direction of Ronald Corp. The London Chorus is itself celebrating 115 years of outstanding performances.
