The first concert in La Belle Époque, A French Weekend Festival of Chamber Music and Song from France's Golden Age. In collaboration with the University of Sheffield, also includes works by Frank, Weber, Dutilleux and Serge Gainsbourg.

Ensemble 360’s ‘bassoonist in a million’ Amy Harman is joined by Louise Alder ‘the brightest lyric soprano of the younger generation’ and winner of the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2017 Audience Prize, and pianist in a ‘class of his own’ James Baillieu.

This evening’s concert celebrates the mid-19th century French poet Charles Baudelaire, an enormously important figure in both modern literature and art, and the composers he admired and influenced.
