2017 marks Oxford Pro Musica Singers’ 40th anniversary and we are celebrating with a bang! Walton’s choral spectacular Belshazzar’s Feast is the culmination of a concert featuring Oxford Pro Musica Singers, University College Chapel Choir, Oxford Pro Musica Singers alumni and friends, all accompanied by Oxford Sinfonia with baritone, Giles Underwood.

The first half of this extravaganza contains Parry’s iconic 'I was glad', and 'Blest pair of Sirens', popular with choirs thorughout the country, but rarely performed in their full orchestral versions.

The current incarnation of Oxford Pro Musica Singers will also demonstrate why they are one of Oxford’s premier choral ensembles with performances of Rutter’s Choral Fanfare, Gabriel Jackson’s sublime O sacrum convivium and Benjamin Britten’s challenging and iconic Hymn to Saint Cecilia. This is a concert surely not to be missed.
