The Thames Chamber Orchestra performs a programme of music for Remembrance Day with Michael Papadopoulos as soloist in Poulenc's Organ Concerto, and Paul Hopwood singing Finzi's Farewell to Arms. Other works include Elgar's much loved Serenade for Strings, Samuel Barber's Adagio, and Sinfonietta No 2 by Malcolm Arnold. The music will be complemented with readings and poems presented by the Vicar of St Paul's Knightsbridge - Alan Gyle. This is an evening for contemplation that will both fascinate and entertain.
