Peter Robertson (flute) and Yoshiko Endo (piano) - proceeds to Mind

An evening of high quality music from local flautist Peter Robertson and pianist Yoshiko Endo.

The programme will include Joueurs de flûte by Rousell, the show-piece Fantaisie Pastorale Hongroise by Doppler, and solo works for flute by British composer Malcolm Arnold and William Alwyn.

Last year's autumn recital raised over £300 for charity and its theme of "darker" music went down very well. This year I'd like to make this free entry, and "Pay what you can", with a suggested price of £10 for those that can afford it - but absolutely no obligation or expectation for those that can't. The theme is an exploration of the timbre of the flute, with most of the works written by flute players or those very close to them

St Michael and All Angels is a fantastic venue and very easy to get to, being next to Turnham Green tube station.
