Following on from their successful recent tour in France, In Capellis and Ceruleo perform a programme of baroque masterpieces. The concert includes several items from Ceruleo, the acclaimed young baroque ensemble as well as larger works for vocal ensemble and continuo.

The program includes several works from Monteverdi whose 450th anniversary it is this year of which Beatus vir is one of his most well known. There are also several works by Henry Purcell including the Funeral Sentences for the death of Queen Mary.
