For the second time this year, Ensemble OrQuesta are taking their opera academy to London. Singers from several countries around the world will gather to perform Monteverdi's master piece in a fully staged production with the accompaniment of the Ensemble OrQuesta Baroque under the direction of Marcio da Silva and Stephanie Gurga. Both have a long experience in performing this repertoire and in guiding young singers to achieve the best sense of style and the dramatic instensity and fluidity which are necessary when performing this music. Marcio da Silva's productions are simple and intimate focusing a on movement and on the connection between audience and performer.
