The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London welcomes The Back Row, a select group of Royal Holloway’s Choral Scholars, to the Autumn Series. This King’s-Singers-style group of six matinée idols presents a sparkling programme of a cappella music through the ages, beginning in the Renaissance with William Byrd, taking in choral favourites from the English tradition of the early twentieth century and traditional folk songs from the British Isles and further afield, and finishing in more recent times with Billy Joel and The Jackson Five. The Grange Wellington Hotel is a beautiful and intimate venue, and offers the opportunity to make a real occasion of it by booking afternoon tea before the concert.
