  1. John Paul Jones (a musical) - concert version - Julian Wagstaff

With music and lyrics by Julian Wagstaff, and book by Julian Wagstaff and Joel Jenkins, John Paul Jones tells the incredible true story of the son of a gardener from Nithsdale, Scotland, who became a hero of the American Revolution as the "father of the American navy”. It is an uplifting, exciting and thought-provoking piece of musical theatre. Jones’s tale is one of triumph and adventure, love and loss, and the effect of one man’s consuming ambition on those closest to him.

This brand new semi-staged production of John Paul Jones features musicians from the internationally renowned Scottish Chamber Orchestra, singers from Consort of Voices and guest soloists. With an eleven-piece orchestra, twenty-strong choir and solo performers in period costume, John Paul Jones promises an unmissable night out for music and theatre fans alike.
