Winner of the 2010 Royal Overseas League Piano Competition, James Sherlock enjoys a busy and diverse career as pianist, organist and conductor. He studied at Trinity College Cambridge where he was organ scholar and continues his studies privately with Joan Havill.

In 2005, James was Gold Medallist at the Marcello Galanti International Organ Competition, and has since performed recitals around Europe. He is organist at St Bartholomew the Great, has appeared with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and recorded with Tenebrae Choir. He continues to pursue his conducting studies, made possible through a BBC performing arts bursary as a winner of Fame Academy – The Next Generation.
