Janina Fialkowska performs Chopin | Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

A landmark piece not just for Elgar, but for British music, Elgar wrote his Variations in dedication to a number of dear friends, with one theme left unnamed, adding to the work’s mystery and intrigue.
