The Gildas Quartet is an exciting young ensemble, which has performed to critical acclaim across the UK and Europe at major venues including the Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall, and live on BBC Radio 3. The quartet have been featured by the Park Lane Group Young Artists scheme, were City Music Foundation Artists 2015 and are Junior Fellows at the Birmingham Conservatoire.

This concert was originally to be given by the Marmen String Quartet, who have unfortunately had to withdraw due to an injury; we are delighted to welcome the Gildas Quartet in their place, with the same programme except for a change to the Haydn quartet.
