Celebrating a year since their formation, join the Reid Consort in dramatic music for Lent. Parry’s heartbreaking Songs of Farewell are contrasted with the sonority of Victoria’s Tenebrae Responsories, written for Holy Week. The programme is capped off by Kurt Nystedt’s atmospheric re-imagining of the JS Bach chorale, Komm, süßer Tod.

Supported in part by the St Cecilia Bursary at the University of Edinburgh.
