For our April 2017 concert we perform two 20th century works, one composed in England in the peace of the inter-war years and one completed in the cellar of the Budapest Opera House during the Russian shelling of the German occupying forces. The choir will also perform James MacMillan 'The gallant weaver' and Gustav Holst's 'I love my love'.

We are delighted to be joined by a visiting Hungarian choir, Cantus Nobilis from Kecskemét, conducted by Janos Lackzó, who will sing 'Székely keserves' by Zoltan Kodály.
