Lucia Veintimilla started playing the violin and the piano at the age of four and finished her degree on violin at the High Conservatory of Asturias with 1st Class honours. She also combined these studies with her bachelor degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she is currently completing her Master’s degree in solo performance with Andrew Watkinson.

She has been awarded many prizes in various solo and chamber music competitions, including VI National Instrumental Competition 'Intercentros Melómano' Orfeo Foundation (Madrid, Spain), II Chamber music competition Oviedo Conservatoire (Asturias, Spain) and Bancaja Camersim 2009 Chamber Music Competition (Valencia, Spain).

An avid chamber musician, Lucia enjoys a busy career performing regularly with Colomé Trio, Deco Ensemble and as a founder member of the Silk Street Sinfonia and The Barokers, touring extensively to major concert halls in Europe and Asia. She recently performed at the Warsaw Philarmonic, The Sage Gateshead, The London Handel Festival, The London Bach Society series, The Mozart in London Festival weekend, The British-Spanish Society recital series, Victoria and Albert Museum and Handel House Museum, St Martin in the Fields lunchtime concert, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 'Boti´n' Foundation (Santander, Spain), Orpheus and Bacchus Music Festival (France) and Porziano Musica (Italy).

Lucia is the recipient of the British-Spanish Society Centenary Award, The Elizabeth Sweeting Award, The Wolfson Foundation 2014 Instrument Award and her studies have been kindly supported by the Leverhulme Arts Scholar, The Guildhall School Trust and Jonde-BBVA. She plays a violin built in 2014 by the renowned Spanish luthier, Roberto Jardón Rico.

Kathy Chow is from Melbourne, Australia, where she graduated with first class Honours in piano performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, studying with Glenn Riddle. She has performed at venues including the Melbourne Recital Centre, Iwaki Auditorium and the Government Ballroom of Western Australia, and has participated in masterclasses with Joanna MacGregor and Steven Osborne. Kathy was selected to perform in the art installation Stop, Repair, Prepare: Variations on Ode to Joy for Prepared Piano (2008) by New York artists Allora and Calzadilla, presented at the State Library of Victoria in 2012. In 2014 Kathy won first prize in the Boorandara Piano Concerto Award with her performance of Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto with the Zelman Memorial Symphony, in and the same year she was invited to perform in the Beethoven Marathon Concert at the Government Ballroom of Western Australia. She has been a finalist of the Melbourne Recital Centre Great Romantics Competition, 2015 Australian Youth Classical Competition, and was the winner of the Music Society of Victoria’s Hephzibah Menuhin Competition and finalist in the 3MBS Young Performer of the Year Award 2015. Earlier this year Kathy was selected as one of twelve participants the 2016 Australian National Piano Award, and was also a finalist in the Sydney Eisteddfod Allison/Henderson Piano Scholarship. Kathy is currently studying for an Artists Masters in Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Martin Roscoe.
