Sibelius's popular Fifth Symphony is a masterpiece of epic sweep and grandeur. It is paired with Dvorák's richly melodious Piano Concerto in which 2016 BBC Young Musician keyboard finalist Julian Trevelyan is soloist. An enchanting waltz by Josef Strauss opens the programme.
