The UKs no 1 jive and swing band. The Jive Aces’ unique sound comes from a combination of their own swing style as well as fresh arrangements of songs from the Swing era (Louis Prima – Just a Gigolo, Louis Jordan – Five Guys Named Mo, Cab Calloway – Minnie the Moocher, Count Basie & Louis Armstrong.) Infectious rhythm, screaming horns and slapping bass meant that they have performed with many top dance acts including The Jivin’ Lindy Hoppers. The Concorde Club is a Private Members Club. Non-members are welcome Wednesday jazz evenings and lunchtimes in the Moldy Fig wine bar. For 21s and over, please dress in smart casual with no T-shirts (except smart Polo shirts), trainers, jeans or denim of any colour. Reserved seating in booking order. The Moldy Fig wine bar will be open from 6pm for pre-performance and interval drinks & dining. Table reservations are advised. |
