This new band on the UK scene is inspired above all by the sounds of the early bands led by legendary trumpeter Ken Colyer. The Spirit of Colyer breathes fresh life into the music of a true giant of the British jazz scene. Led by trumpeter Norman Thatcher the band includes Brian Carrick, clarinet and tenor sax and Ray Smith, piano. |
