Summer just got a whole lot hotter! As Ronnie Scott’s Big Band announces its debut performance at Marble Hill, Twickenham on Sunday 24th August – the legendary London club is leaving the confines of its Soho home to join a sizzling all star line up just south of the river Thames. Presenting and performing live at Ronnie Scott’s In The Park will be celebrated singer - saxophonist Curtis Stigers, last year’s winner of Best International Artist at the BBC Jazz Awards. There will also be special guest appearances from Radio 2 presenter Claire Teal - a highly acclaimed singer with unmistakable warm, sultry tones and new swing vocal sensation Peter Grant. The world famous Ronnie Scott’s Big Band will perform a superb mix of the coolest jazz and swing classics featuring - as well as more intimate performances - the work of Basie, Ellington and the Rat Pack. |
