Note: Commissioned by the Birmingham Triennial Music Festival and premiered at Town Hall, Elijah is one of the great oratorios, and a key part of Birmingham’s cultural heritage. We are delighted to welcome back OAE as we continue our 40th anniversary celebrations by exploring, for the first time since the premiere, the original 1846 performance, using a new edition specially created for the occasion.
