Note: Truls Mørk makes a welcome return to the SCO to perform CPE Bach’s lovely cello concerto. It dates from the 1750s, and displays all the well-sprung rhythm and grace of its age. The two symphonies in the programme are almost exactly contemporary, and also share a penchant for musical jokes.
