Note: Stamford Choral Society are putting on a special concert this May. The 170 strong choir will be performing Elgar’s ‘The Kingdom’ as a celebration of musical director Paul White’s 24 years with the choir in the year of his retirement.

Paul is a well respected and popular member of the Stamford community. As well as being Director and Conductor of Stamford Choral Society, he is also Director of music for Stamford Endowed Schools.

The concert will take place on Saturday 17th May at 7.30pm at Peterborough’s magnificent Norman Cathedral and will attract a large audience including special guest, the President of the society, Colin Dexter
