| Note: | |
The inaugural concert to herald the annual Counterpoint Bursary for Exeter Cathedral Choristers, is being held in Exeter Cathedral on Saturday 17th May with Michael Chance as the guest countertenor soloist. The choir's friends from Divertimento will be playing and the programme is entitled Masters of the Baroque.
Concerts in this series will take place once a year in May in the Cathedral and sponsorship will cover the guest artists, thereby leaving all proceeds to be donated directly to the Choir. The fund has been put in place to raise money specifically to support the girl and boy choristers. This form of support can be used in assisiting with fees when required, or in helping with the general welfare and lifestyle of the boys and girls.
The evening promises to be a happy and joyous occasion and tickets are already selling fast. |
