Music in the Round's May Festival this year celebrates its 25th year, and to commemorate the occasion the theme of the festival is Silver - Best of the Fests. Each concert is based one a theme of one of the festivals from the past 25 years. Ensemble 360 are joined by Peter Cropper to perform a programme of the influential music of Beethoven, featuring the Kretzer Sonata, widely regarded as the most virtuosic sonata ever written for violin and piano. |
