This is a first time collaboration between two of Stroud's leading music societies, Stroud Symphony Orchestra and Stroud Choral Society. Their joint performance of The Sea Symphony will commemorate Vaughan Williams, in this the 50th anniversary year of his death, and will be accompanied by two other English works, Elgar's Enigma Variations and Walton's Spitfire Prelude and Fugue. |
